Vaber Weaves believes that online saree shopping should be based on clear and honest product information.
We therefore make reasonable efforts to accurately represent each product while recognising that textiles may contain natural or unavoidable variations.
1. Colour Representation
We make reasonable efforts to display product colours accurately.
However, the colour visible on your device may differ slightly from the physical product because of:
screen calibration; display brightness; device settings; ambient lighting; photography conditions; and differences between daylight and artificial light.
A minor colour variation arising from these factors will not necessarily constitute a defect.
This disclaimer does not apply where the product supplied is materially different from the colour/product advertised because of an error on our part.
2. Fabric Composition
Vaber Weaves aims to describe fabric composition accurately based on available product and supplier/manufacturing information.
We do not intend to describe a fabric as “pure silk,” “cotton,” “handloom,” or similar unless such description is supportable.
Customers should rely on the individual product page for the applicable fabric description.
3. Handcrafted and Handwoven Variations
Certain products may contain handwoven, handloom-inspired, hand-dyed, hand-embroidered or handcrafted characteristics.
Depending on the product and technique, minor variations may occur in:
weave; motifs; yarn; texture; selvedge; embroidery; dye distribution; zari; alignment; finishing; or similar details.
Such genuine minor characteristics may form part of the nature of the textile and are not automatically manufacturing defects.
Material damage, incorrect goods or significant departures from the advertised product remain subject to our Return Policy.
4. Measurements
Saree length, blouse-piece length, border dimensions and other measurements displayed on product pages are intended to be as accurate as reasonably practicable.
Minor manufacturing tolerances may occur.
5. Blouse Piece
Not every saree necessarily contains the same blouse-piece configuration.
The customer should check the individual product page for:
whether a blouse piece is included; approximate length; colour; design; fabric; and other relevant details.
Product photographs showing a model wearing a styled blouse do not necessarily mean that the exact stitched blouse shown is supplied, unless expressly stated on the product page.
6. Model and Styling Images
Jewellery, accessories, petticoats, footwear, stitched blouses and styling props appearing in photographs may be used only for presentation unless expressly included in the product description.
Customers should refer to the “what is included” information on the relevant product page.
7. Fall, Pico, Tassels and Alterations
Where Vaber Weaves offers fall, pico, tassel, stitching or similar alteration services, such work may permanently modify the product.
Once customer-requested alteration has been carried out, the product will ordinarily become non-returnable except where the customer has rights relating to a genuine defect, incorrect product or other issue protected by applicable law.
8. Product Care
Customers should follow the care instructions applicable to the product.
Damage caused by inappropriate washing, machine washing where not recommended, ironing, excessive heat, improper dry cleaning, chemicals, perfumes, moisture, poor storage, colour transfer, misuse or failure to follow care instructions will not ordinarily be considered a manufacturing defect.
9. Zari, Embellishment and Surface Characteristics
Products containing zari, embroidery, sequins or other surface elements may require careful handling.
Minor loose fibres, natural textile slubs or characteristics intrinsic to the stated construction should be distinguished from an actual defect.
10. Product Information Prevails
Because products may differ, the individual product page should always be reviewed before purchase.
Where there is a conflict between a general styling statement and a specific product specification, the specific product information should ordinarily govern.
